What a gift of life God gives us and the beauty is so evident in our children. Holding a newborn for the first time gives us a glimpse into Heaven and the power of God's love for us. Making it through child birth and the delivery of my two baby girls also fills me with thankfulness, joy and hope that God has and will provide for my every need.
Watching as my girls grow into these adorable bundles of personality and joy has been so rewarding. Their love for people, music, worship and each other is such a gift. Remember that although our reward is in Heaven, our rewards are also here with us in our children. Let's appreciate them through God's eyes.
Psalm 127:3 "Sons are a heritage from the LORD, children a reward from him."
Prayer: Precious Lord, please allow us the love and joy to cherish our children and treat them as you would want us to. Help us to guide them in your ways by showing yourself through us and in us. Let us give you praise and share that gift with our children. I pray your love and joy would bless us today and that you would be blessed through us. Thank you Jesus.
